Thomas Plischke

Thomas Plischke (born May 20, 1975 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German author . He also publishes under the pseudonyms Jonas Wolf and Ole Kristiansen .

Life and works

Plischke was born the son of a commercial clerk and a psychotherapist. He spent his school days at the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Ludwigshafen am Rhein .

After studying psychology for four semesters , which he partially financed with translations, editing and proofreading for the publishing house Feder & Schwert , in 1999 he accepted the publisher's offer to begin training as a publishing clerk. During his training he was awarded for his short story Krüppel in a writing competition at his school. In 2002 he finished his apprenticeship with distinction. At the same time, his first novel Fuchsfährten , which takes place in the role-playing world Das Schwarze Auge , was accepted and published by Heyne Verlag and the licensor Fantasy Productions .

After completing this training, he decided to study American studies in Hamburg with his partner Ole Christiansen . During his studies he worked again as an editor, proofreader and author. With the near end of his studies and the beginning of the soccer World Cup in 2006 , he managed to publish his fourth novel Endspiel: Das Runde im Eckigen . In the same year the collection of short stories Exodus was published . The stories take place in the fantasy world of the role-playing game Engel , distributed by Feder & Schwert , as do Plischke's second and third novels, which he wrote together with Verena Stöcklein. In November 2007 he completed his studies with a Magister Artium and took up a doctoral degree at the University of Hamburg . At this time he began writing radio play scripts for the Weirdoz * label.

At the end of 2008, Piper Verlag published Die Zwerge von Amboss , the first volume in the fantasy series Die Zerrissenen Reiche developed together with Christiansen . The second volume, Die Ordenskrieger von Goldberg, followed in February 2009 . In December 2009, his contemporary thriller entitled Cold Warriors was published by Piper Verlag . In the spring of 2010, The Zombies , a novel with strong horror and psychological thriller components, was also published by Piper. In the fall of 2010, the third part of The Torn Realms , entitled The Halflings of the Eternal Grove , was published. Since 2012, Plischke has been writing classic fantasy novels and non-fiction novels on this subject under the pseudonym Jonas Wolf and thriller without fantastic elements under the pseudonym Ole Kristiansen.

Plischke is open about his bisexuality , he lives and works with men and women in Hamburg. He is represented by the literature agency AVA International.
