Oliver Graute
Oliver Graute (born September 22, 1971 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German publisher , author and artist in the field of fantasy / role-playing games .
Graute studied graphic design and moved to Pforzheim in 1994 , where he worked as an art director in an advertising agency until 1996. Since 1996 he is u. a. with Oliver Hoffmann partner at the publishing house for fantastic literature Feder & Schwert in Mannheim . He is one of the inventors and the designer of the role-playing game Engel . For the background world he wrote a. a. also parts of the novel Exodus and the novels Deus vult and Apocalyptica . In 2011 he took over the chairmanship of the Fantastische Akademie e. V., which is dedicated to promoting fantastic literature in German-speaking countries. The association awards, among other things, the SERAPH literature prize for young talents in fantastic literature.
