Thomas Scheuerle

Thomas Scheuerle (born February 17, 1944 in Nuremberg ; † December 10, 2010 ) was a German businessman.

Career

After graduating from a humanistic grammar school, he joined his parents' company in 1964, Alfred Graf KG, Nuremberg, import and export wholesale for food and chemical-technical raw materials. In 1973 he took over the management of the company as managing partner.

In addition, he volunteered in numerous professional representation associations. From 1987 on he was a member of the board of the regional association of Bavarian wholesale and foreign trade (LGA), from July 1995 its president and after leaving office honorary president. In addition, from 1995 he was Vice President of the Federal Association of German Wholesale and Foreign Trade (BGA) and Deputy Chairman of the Federal Association of German Export Trade.

As a representative of the Industry and Trade Group, he was a member of the Bavarian Senate from January 1, 1996 until its dissolution at the end of 1999 . On October 26, 2012, the estate of Thomas Scheuerle was filed for insolvency at the Nuremberg District Court. The insolvency proceedings were opened on February 18, 2013 by the Nuremberg District Court.
