Thomas Schmid (Author)

Thomas Schmid (* 1960 in Landshut ) is a German writer .

After studying literature, theater and communication studies, Schmid began a life as a freelance writer. In addition to novels for children and young people such as Anna-Barbie , a story about a child of divorce who gets to know his family history, and the Pippa series, he also writes radio and television scripts, e.g. B. for the broadcast Sunday chicken of the Bavarian broadcast on Bayern 2 and for Marienhof . The children's crime series Karin Kommissarin , a radio play in 24 parts, also comes from his pen.

Schmid is married and has three children.
