Thomas Shannon (theologian)

Thomas Shannon (born September 28, 1940 ) is an American Roman Catholic theologian and author .

Life

Shannon studied Roman Catholic theology in Boston , Massachusetts . He was a professor at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts . In 1984 he co-signed the A Catholic Statement on Pluralism and Abortion campaign . He has been teaching Catholic theology at St. John's University in New York City since 2007 . His main research interests include social justice and bioethics.
