Thomas Vetsch

Thomas Vetsch (born May 18, 1974 in Grabs , Canton St. Gallen , Switzerland ) is a Swiss PR personality and author of numerous children's stories.

Vetsch was born as the son of a primary school teacher and a foot and reflexology masseuse in Grabs, and now lives in Berlin. Vetsch began studying English at the University of Zurich in 1994 , with the minor subjects Nordic Studies and Modern German Literature. A semester abroad took him to Møre Folkehøgskule in Ørsta, Norway and to the Free University of Berlin , Germany. In June 2003 Vetsch finished his English studies with Elisabeth Bronfen in Zurich . The topic of his master's thesis: The function of powerlessness in English literature of the 18th century.

From 2003 to 2005 Thomas Vetsch worked as a theater dramaturge at the Badische Landesbühne Bruchsal. After further training as a PR manager, Vetsch worked as a freelance children's book author and PR consultant in the cultural and event sector in Berlin . He caused an international stir with the first travel agency for stressed-out cuddly toys , Teddy Tour Berlin , which he founded together with actor and director Karsten Morschett .
