Thomas Weber (born April 29, 1993 ) is an Austrian football player .

Athletic career

Weber started his career at ASK Erlaa in Vienna . After three years in their youth department, he switched to that of FC Admira Wacker Mödling , where he was active until 2011 before he was brought into the amateur team of the Südstadt team. He made his debut for the second team of the Admiraner in the Regionalliga Ost on August 9, 2011 against the Vienna sports club . Weber played through in central defense and the game in Maria Enzersdorf could be won 2-1. In total, he came to 22 more appearances that season and scored a goal in the 14th round in a 2-1 win against FK Austria Wien II . A round later against SC Columbia Floridsdorf Weber was sent off for an insult.

Due to the good performance, Weber was brought into the squad by the coach of the first team, Dietmar Kühbauer . Weber made his debut in the top Austrian division on March 24, 2012 against eventual champions FC Red Bull Salzburg . Weber played through and was able to look forward to a 2-2 draw. The central defender came in that Bundesliga season on another mission.

For the 2015/16 season he was awarded to the second division club Floridsdorfer AC . After the end of the season, however, he did not return to Admira and left the club. In January 2017 he joined the state division club SV Stripfing .

Personal

His father Franz was also a soccer player, his brother Daniel played with him at Floridsdorf.
