Thomas Wissmann

Thomas Wißmann (* 1965 ) is a German actor and presenter .

Life

After training as an actor and singer, Thomas Wißmann worked in a wide variety of theater areas: original Shakespeare productions, children's theater as well as productions for “Theater Heute” and for the pantomime Milan Sladek. In addition to his moderation and speaker activities, his poetry project Auf Wunsch Liebe and his work for film and television, his love is also for music theater . He played Gustav in Beauty and the Beast , Brad in the Rocky Horror Show and Jupp Schmitz in Carmen at the Kaiserhof in Cologne. After the in-house production Immer wieder Anders and a Germany tour with the hit comedy and Babs & the Boogie Boys , the German version of the Brodway long-running The Fantasticks went to Essen . He was on tour in Germany with the operetta quintet Kommando Rothenberger and completed his first opera work with the rise and fall of the city of Mahagonny . Wissmann published his first book, Never Smoker . Since 2010 he has played the role of Dr. Dillamonth in the musical Wicked - The Witches of Oz .
