Thomas Zeller

Thomas Zeller (born April 13, 1975 in Meißen ) is a German journalist . He has been the editorial manager of the Heidenheimer Zeitung since April 2018 . Before that he worked in various management positions for the media houses Trierischer Volksfreund and Südkurier .

Life

Zeller grew up in Weinböhla . In Leipzig he studied journalism and English at the University of Leipzig . From 1997 he completed a traineeship at the radio station Radioropa. After completing his studies, he worked as an editor for various publishing houses, such as Gruner + Jahr , FAZ Business Radio or the US publisher IDG.

In 2002 Zeller published his first book Size Matters. The mergers in the American media industry and their effects on the German TV market. In it, the business journalist deals with different approaches for vertical and horizontal integration in media groups.
