Thorben Sandmeier (born August 28, 1992 ) is a German volleyball player .

He started his career at TS Durlach and has played in the 2nd Bundesliga since 2012, initially at TuS Durmersheim and, since taking over the playing rights in 2015, at SSC Karlsruhe .
