Jens Sandmeier (born August 16, 1995 ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Indoor volleyball

Jens Sandmeier started his career at TS Durlach and has played in the 2nd Bundesliga at TuS Durmersheim since 2011 .

In July 2014 he moved to the first division TV Bühl and played there until the 2016/17 season. On 28 February 2016 he stood in the SAP Arena in Mannheim in DVV -Pokalfinale against the Berlin volleys .

Since the 2017/18 season, Sandmeier has been back in the 2nd Bundesliga after the rise of SSC Karlsruhe and was one of the top MVPs in the 2018/19 season .

The attacker was active in the German youth / junior national team from 2012 to 2015 and took part in the European Championship qualification in January 2013 in Brno (Czech Republic) and the World Championship qualification in January 2015 in Zwolle (Netherlands).

In 2015 he won the Baden-Württemberg U17 state championships with Luca Wanek and in 2019 he won the category 2 tournament at SSC Karlsruhe with Benjamin Loritz .
