The Thorpe Ridges are three almost parallel mountain ridges in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They tower 29 km west of Stor Hånakken .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 were used for their mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after Arnold Thorp, an electrical mechanic on Wilkes Station in 1961.
