Thought Forms is an English post-rock band.

Band history

The band was formed in 2004 in Melksham, Wiltshire by drummer Emily Mcmullen, guitarist Charlie Romijn and guitarist Deej Dhariwal . Mcmullen left the band in 2006 and was replaced by Guy Metcalfe. After performing in Bristol , they were offered a record deal with Invada Records. Her debut album was released in 2009. Company owner Geoff Barrow promoted the band, calling them as opening act for his own band Portishead committed. Thought Forms also toured with Esben and the Witch . The second album was produced by Jim Barr, the live bassist from Portishead, and was released in February 2013. Only Hollow was released as a single . The band's style was influenced by groups like Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine .

On November 4, 2016, the band's third album, Songs About Drowning, was released.
