Ti.Pi.Cal. is an Italian dance project that was founded in Gela ( Sicily ) in 1993 . The name is made up of the first syllables of the surnames of the three founders Daniele Tignino, Riccardo Piparo and Vincenzo Callea. In addition to their own productions, the DJs also published remixes .

history

The Sicilian DJs became known in 1995 for the songs Round and Around and The Color Inside ; with the participation of the singer Josh Colow , both singles reached number one in the Italian charts. In 1996 the project released the first album Colorful and the single Gimme Love under the name Kasto . After the singer Kimara Lawson joined the project in 1997, it broke up two years later.

In 2001 there was a brief reunion with singer Josh Colow, from which the single Is This the Love emerged ; What I Like followed in 2006 . Eventually the project began with work on a new album, which was released in 2011 under the title Stars (as well as the single of the same name).
