Tiberiu-Liviu Chodan

Tiberiu-Liviu Chodan (born February 14, 1959 in Vatra Moldoviței , Suceava County ) is a Romanian naval officer . He has been the fleet commander of the Romanian Navy since 2014 .

Life

From 1974 to 1978 Chodan attended the military school "Stefan cel Mare" in Câmpulung Moldovenesc . He then went to the “Mircea cel Batran” Naval Institute until 1982. Since 1982 he has been working for the Romanian Navy .

Chodan is one of the 89 people from the European Union against whom Russia - as it became known at the end of May 2015 - has imposed an entry ban.
