Tiefschwarz is a German producer and DJ team in the field of the electronic music scene, which consists of the two brothers Alexander "Ali" and Sebastian "Basti" Schwarz .

career

In 1990 Ali Schwarz opened Club ON-U in Stuttgart , three years later the next Club Red Dog was opened.

In 1996 the brothers started their own productions and founded the label Continuemusics . There they released their debut single 24Seven , which was later remixed by Michi Lange and Boris Dlugosch . The name of the project Tiefschwarz , launched in 1996 , arose from the connection between the family name and her fondness for deep house .

Two years later they signed a deal with Benztown and released music with a feature by Joy Denalane from the Freundeskreis . In 2001 the debut album RAL 9005 was released , the name of which was derived from the name for the color jet black. It showed influences from various musical styles such as nu jazz , garage, pop, electro and deep house.

Tiefschwarz are particularly known for their many remixes . These include productions by Jam & Spoon , Earth, Wind & Fire and Mousse T's Hit Horny . In 2005 the brothers received the Dance Music Award for their remix of Spectrum's Kinda New .
