The Tiergarten & Reiterhof Walding is a zoological garden in the market town of Walding in the upper Mühlviertel in the Urfahr-Umgebung district in Upper Austria . It was founded by the Mair family in 1967 on a farm and inn in Pasching near Linz .

In 1977 the Mair family moved to Walding with almost all of their animals and in 1979 they received the building permit for the zoo. Since the death of Angela Mair's parents (Karl Mair died in 1988 and Maria Mair in 1992), the zoo has been run by Angela Mair.

The following exotic animals are kept: gibbon , leopard , lion , ocelot , zebra , serval , tiger and many types of birds.
