Animal Welfare Commission (Germany)
The Animal Welfare Commission is an advisory body to the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture . The Ministry has been calling the Commission since 1987 on the basis of Section 16b of the Animal Welfare Act to support it in matters of animal welfare. She hears them before the enactment of statutory ordinances and general administrative regulations under the Animal Welfare Act.
