Tiina Astola
Tiina Astola (born April 6, 1953 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish EU civil servant and has headed the General Directorate Justice and Consumers (DG JUST) as Director General since February 2016 .
Live and act
Tiina Astola studied law at the University of Turku and at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel , each with a master's degree. She then worked for the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Trade until 1986, then in various positions for the Finnish Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Justice. From 2007 to 2016 she was State Secretary in the Finnish Ministry of Justice.
