Karl Friedrich Steinhardt: Self-Portrait

Karl Friedrich Steinhardt , also Friedrich Karl Steinhardt , (born January 6, 1844 in Frankfurt am Main , † 1894 ) was a German portrait and genre painter .

Steinhardt seemed to have worked in Paris in his early years and then worked as a portrait and genre painter in Munich.

His paintings are in museums such as the National Museum Wales ( portrait of Adelina Patti ) and the Neue Pinakothek in Munich ( girl with geese from 1866).
