Tile Tegetmeier

Tile Tegetmeier (* before 1470; † 1535 in Lübeck ) was briefly councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

According to the Niederstadt books, the merchant Tile Tegetmeier was one of the larger ship brokers in Lübeck in the 1490s and in terms of economic importance was 40th among the Lübeck freighters in the period 1492-1496. During the period of upheaval under Jürgen Wullenwever , he became a member of the Lübeck Citizens Committee in 1530 , the 64 committee. On March 8, 1533 he was elected to the Lübeck Council , from which he resigned on August 21 of the same year. He died in 1535.
