Tillmann Bendikowski (* 1965 ) is a German journalist and historian.

Life

After training as a journalist, Bendikowski began studying at the Ruhr University in Bochum in 1989 . There he studied history, journalism, communication studies and the theory and didactics of history. After completing his studies in 1994, he received his doctorate in 1999 with the historians Hans Mommsen and Günter Brakelmann . He then founded the Hamburg media agency Geschichte and went into self-employment. Since then he has been involved in several book projects as editor and co-author and has also written several works himself, including a monograph on Frederick the Great in 2011.

Bendikowski is married.
