Tilmann Kleinjung

Tilmann Kleinjung is a German journalist .

Career

Kleinjung studied Protestant theology in Munich and Basel . In 1990 he came to Bayerischer Rundfunk . In the beginning he mainly worked as a reporter for the business and social department. In 2002 he moved to the Religion and Church department as an editor. In the meantime he was head of the ARD radio studio in Rome for six years and was responsible for reporting from Italy , the Vatican and Malta .

Awards

In 2006, Kleinjung and Cornelia Klaila were awarded the Catholic Media Prize for a feature about the traumatizing consequences of the tsunami in the Indian Ocean .
