Tim Bowler
Tim Bowler (born November 14, 1953 in Leigh-on-Sea , Essex ) is a British writer .
Bowler studied Swedish and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Norwich . Since 1990 he has been working as a freelance writer and translator. The material of his stories are strongly influenced by personal experiences. In his book "River Boy", for which he received the Carnegie Medal in 1998 , he processed the death of his grandfather.
