Timothy Tuttle "Tim" Brown (born July 24, 1938 in Loup City , Nebraska , † 1989 ) was an American figure skater who competed internationally in a single run .
He was runner-up in 1957 and 1958 behind his compatriot David Jenkins and won bronze in 1959 . At the 1960 Olympic Games , he was fifth. In 1961 he was supposed to take part in the world championship, but had to cancel because of the flu and thus escaped the death flight of the US team , which later led to the cancellation of the world championship.
Brown also competed in ice dance competitions with his ice dance partner Susan Sebo . You finished second in the 1958 U.S. Championships .
After his resignation he studied zoology and later medicine . Tim Brown died of AIDS in 1989 .
