Tim Klinger

Tim Klinger (born September 22, 1984 in Wuppertal ) is a former German racing cyclist .

After Klinger won a stage of the Tour de Moselle in 2004, his international career began in 2005 with Team Sparkasse . From 2007 to 2008 he started for the UCI ProTeam Gerolsteiner and contested his first major national tour with the Giro d'Italia 2007 , but could not finish the race. The subsequent Vuelta a España 2007 he finished 100th overall.

Klinger ended his cycling career because of persistent knee problems at the end of the 2008 season. He then completed his pilot training and worked as a pilot at Condor . He also worked temporarily as a sports director for the Seven Stones team .
