Seven Stones was a German cycling team .

history

The team was founded in 2007 under the name Vklassroot , based in Bochum . The team had been a Continental team since 2008 . Manager was Uwe Kappel, sporting directors Lars Diemer and Tim Klinger . The team was sponsored by the Belgian steel company Vlaßroot, the service company Regema , Bizerba , the engineering office ibg and the bicycle mail order company Rose . The team used Redbull bikes .

In 2009 the team started under the name of the new main sponsor Seven Stones .

The team was disbanded at the end of the 2011 season because the team manager Uwe Kappel had to take care of his recovery after a bicycle fall.

2008 season

In the first season as a Continental team, the team could not win, but achieve some successes in the UCI Europe Tour . In one-day races, Robert Sydlik was able to take fourth place at the Grand Prix Kranj and fifth place in All about brown coal . In addition, he was able to take third place on the fourth stage of the Cinturón Ciclista a Mallorca . On the second stage of the same tour, Christoph Schweizer took second place.
