Tim Michalak

Tim Michalak (* 1973 in Duisburg ) is a German historian , Germanist , lecturer and author .

Life

The historian and German scholar has published mostly on regional history topics since 1995. In addition, he was jointly responsible for the conception and implementation of events and guided tours for the Zollverein Coal Mine World Heritage Site and other museums in the Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine. From 2004 to 2007 he also worked as a project manager and research assistant at the Haniel Museum Duisburg .

He works as a freelance editor for Anno-Verlag in Ahlen , and is also the owner of an agency for public relations and advice in the cultural sector.

As a city councilor, he has been a member of the city council of Xanten since June 2014 .

Tim Michalak has been living with his wife, a native of Xanten, in the "Roman, Cathedral and Siegfried City on the Rhine" since the beginning of 2011.
