Tim Raschke

Tim Raschke (* 1970 in Aachen ) is a trombonist and composer .

Life

Raschke studied trombone from 1990 to 1995 with Joachim Mittelacher at what was then the Berlin University of the Arts . After additional studies, he passed the concert exam in 1999 . From 1993 he took on engagements at the Theater des Westens , the State Orchestra Frankfurt / Oder as well as temporary jobs with the major Berlin orchestras. Since 2002 he has been solo trombonist in the orchestra of the Wiesbaden State Theater .

  • Berlin Suite / Three Christmas Carols (commissioned by the Berliner Philharmoniker, world premiere on December 6, 2004, brass section of the Berliner Philharmoniker, chamber music hall of the Philharmonie)
  • silence & violence (commissioned by the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, world premiere on June 18, 2006, Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra under Toshiyuki Kamioka , Stadthalle Wuppertal )
