Tim Weilkiens

Tim Weilkiens (* 1971 in Husum ) is a German computer scientist , systems engineer and author of several books on modeling and process models . He is the managing director of a service company in the field of software and system development . He is co-developer of the OMG standard SysML and is involved in the further development of UML and BPMN . He also helped develop the OMG's OCUP , OCEB and OCSMP certification programs .

After studying computer science with a minor in medicine at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel , he worked as a software developer.
