Timothy Benjamin

Timothy Benjamin (also: Tim Benjamin ; born May 2, 1982 in Cardiff ) is a British sprinter who has been a successful 400-meter runner since the late 1990s.

The 1999 youth world champion over 200 meters took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and made it to the semifinals in the 400-meter run. In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he finished fifth with the British relay.

On July 22, 2005, he set his personal record and a European annual best in London with 44.75 s. At the World Championships in Helsinki he made it to the finals and was fifth. In 2006 he was sixth at the European Championships in Gothenburg and won the silver medal with the British 4 x 400 meter relay.

With a height of 1.83 m, he has a competition weight of 72 kg.
