Timothy J. Mayopoulos

Timothy J. Mayopoulos (* 1959 ) is an American bank manager .

Life

Mayopoulos studied English at Cornell University , where he graduated in 1980. He then studied law at New York University . From 1986 to 1994 he practiced as a lawyer in New York City . In the 2000s he worked for Bank of America and Deutsche Bank in the United States, among others . Since 2009 he has been working for the mortgage bank Fannie Mae , which he has been running as successor to Michael Williams since June 2012 .
