Tina Oelker

Tina Oelker (born December 7, 1973 in Hamm , Westphalia ) is a German artist . Her work includes painting , texts , drawings and short films .

Life

At the age of 15 she took lessons in modern painting. In 1994 she studied at the Art Students League NYC , New York City, painting with Hillary Holmes and at the School of Visual Arts . Between 1997 and 2004 she studied design and art (HfBK) at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW). During her studies she developed performances which she staged in the Erotic Art Museum and in the Schmidts Tivoli Theater .

From 2002 to 2004 she ran the producer gallery Durchgang , which she opened with a shooting festival. In 2004 she presented her diploma there. In 2007 Tina Oelker started her long-term project, "Hasenmanufaktur Hamburg, 1000 Hasen - limited edition" and in 2010 opened her second producer gallery Hafentor 7 at the Hamburg Landungsbrücken. With the Schützenfest - Reloaded she completed the project of the 1000 rabbits.
