Tyrolean playwright festival
The Tyrolean Dramatist Festival is a theater festival in the Austrian state of Tyrol and is held every two years. By the province of Tyrol, the city of Innsbruck and the federal government funded work exhibition is under the patronage of Klaus Rohrmoser (actor, director, theater director), which the festival founded in the year of 2002.
Every two years the festival shows new pieces by Tyrolean authors or by guest authors who deal with a Tyrolean topic. Each production has an average of five performances and the entire festival an average of around 3,000 visitors. The festival shows in-house and co-productions with various Tyrolean theaters and unconventional venues.
