Titan MAX ( Japanese タ イ タ ン MAX ) was a steel roller coaster made by Arrow Dynamics in the Japanese amusement park Space World ( Kitakyūshū , Fukuoka Prefecture ), which was opened on March 5, 1994 as Titan ( タ イ タ ン ). It drove under this name until it was renamed Titan V ( タ イ タ ン V ) in 2007 . Finally, it was renamed to its last name in 2016. On December 31, 2017, it was closed along with the rest of the park. At the time of its opening, Titan MAX was the fastest and second highest roller coaster in Japan after Bandit in Yomiuriland .

The 1530 m long route reaches a height of 51 m and had a 54 m high first descent of 60 °.

Trains

Originally, Titan MAX had trains made by Arrow Dynamics, each with six cars for six people each (three rows of two people). For the 25th anniversary of the park, the old trains were replaced by trains from the manufacturer S&S Worldwide , whose cars could hold four people (two rows of two people). The trains also had an onboard sound system.
