Titular diocese of Saint-Papoul

Saint-Papoul ( Latin : Sancti Papuli ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to the diocese of Saint Papoul , established in 1317 and dissolved on November 29, 1801 as a result of the French Revolution, with its seat in Saint-Papoul . The perished diocese was a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Toulouse .

On February 9, 2009, Saint-Papoul was founded by Pope Benedict XVI. rebuilt as a titular seat and awarded for the first time on April 14, 2016.
