Titus Attius Tutor (full name form Titus Attius Gai filius Tutor ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD . The stations of his military career, which he completed in the second half of the 2nd century, are known through an inscription. His career is in the inscription as cursus inversus , d. H. in descending order.

When Castle Alauna four altars with votive inscriptions found, the Philosopher had built during his time as commander of the cohort.

He then became a tribunus militum in the Legio II Adiutrix pia fidelis , whose headquarters were in Aquincum in the province of Pannonia inferior . He exercised his third command as prefect of the Ala I Tungrorum Frontoniana , which was stationed in the province of Dacia Porolissensis . The Tres militiae was followed by a fourth military post ( Militia quarta ) as prefect of the Ala I Batavorum miliaria , which was stationed in Dacia superior .

The inscription with his military career was found in his hometown of Flavia Solva in the province of Noricum . It was built by Sedatius Quietus , a city councilor ( decurio ). Before his military career, Tutor probably also held the office of city council.
