Tivadar Kardos
Tivadar Kardos (born September 26, 1921 in Budapest , † May 15, 1998 ) was a Hungarian composer and writer in chess .
Kardos - an academic by profession - has composed more than 400 chess problems. Above all, he concentrated on two-move as well as self and auxiliary mat tasks .
He also worked as an organizer. He was chairman of the Budapest Chess Exercise Committee. Together with István Rágó he published the magazine "Feladványkedvelők Lapja" (Journal of Problem Friends) from 1969 to 1975.
