Tjeerd van der Ploeg
Tjeerd van der Ploeg (* 1958 ) is a Dutch organist and church musician .
Life
Van der Ploeg was born in 1958. He studied organ with Piet Post , Jan Jongepier and Jacques van Oortmerssen and completed his organ studies with the soloist exam at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. He is organist at the Protestant Church in Purmerend . Van der Ploeg has published numerous articles on the English composer Herbert Howells and the Spanish composer Francisco Correa de Arauxo .
