Paredes de Coura is a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the northern Portuguese district of Paredes de Coura . It has 1,598 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Paredes de Coura and Resende were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Paredes de Coura e Resende with Sizt in Paredes de Coura.
