The União das Freguesias de Formariz e Ferreira is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Paredes de Coura in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Formariz and Ferreira . Formariz became the seat of the new administration.
