Hikers on the summer Tjustleden

The Tjustleden is about 200 km long distance hiking trail in the area Tjust in the town of Västervik in Swedish Småland . The entire route can only be walked as a multi-day hike with trekking equipment. The route mostly runs on small inland paths without any alpine difficulties. Overnight accommodation is offered by simple shelters ( vindskydd ) and a hut near Hallingeberg .

With the Ostkustleden in the south and the Östgötaleden in the north, the path is part of a larger network of hiking trails.

The hiking trail was built by Naturskyddsföreningen i Tjust , the maintenance of the trail is still voluntary.
