Tobias Daniel Wabbel (born October 1, 1973 ) is a German author and publicist .

Life

From 2002 to 2007 Wabbel published four anthologies with essays by authors, scientists, theologians and philosophers on the subject of extraterrestrial life , on the question of whether God created the universe and on the question of how God could allow the Holocaust to affect the Jewish people.

On September 30, 2006 he appeared together with others on the program CosmicConnexion produced by the European TV channel ARTE and Cargo Films, Paris . The program dealt with the topic SETI - the search for extraterrestrial intelligences - and is addressed to possible extraterrestrial civilizations.

In 2010 he published the non-fiction book Der Templerschatz - A search for traces . In it, Wabbel explores the question of whether the legendary Order of the Knights Templar guarded a Templar treasure , what it could have consisted of and where it could still be today. He argues against conventional theses, such as that it could have been the shroud , which he exposes as a forgery. On the basis of scientific and historical sources, he also reduces claims by Ethiopian Christians to absurdity that the ark of the Israelites is still located in the Ethiopian city of Aksum in the Church of St. Mary of Zion . He is investigating evidence that the Ark of the Covenant may have been found by the Knights Templar between 1120 and 1128 under the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and transferred to France.

Wabbel's main topics are the puzzles of human history and borderline questions to scientific-philosophical topics.

Tobias Daniel Wabbel lives in Essen .
