Tobias Graf (cyclist)

Tobias Graf (born March 14, 1984 in Lossburg ) is a former German Paracyclern . He was part of the 2004 , 2008 and 2012 Paralympic Games .

Career

Tobias Graf lost his left leg in an accident at the age of ten. At the age of 16 he took part in his first German championship in paracycling . He was able to achieve his first international successes at the Paralympics 2004 in the track cycling disciplines single pursuit (silver) and time trial (bronze).

In the following years Graf was able to establish himself in the international top and win further medals at the following World Championships and Paralympic Games. The highlight of his career was winning the gold medal in the time trial on September 5, 2012 at the 2012 Paralympics in London.

After winning a bronze medal at the 2013 UCI Road World Championships in Baie-Comeau, Canada, a cartilage damage in his knee forced him to end his career. Today he works as a technical draftsman.
