Tobias Ratschiller (born May 16, 1979 in Schlanders ) is an entrepreneur from South Tyrol and the original developer of the database management tool phpMyAdmin .

Ratschiller also developed the ad server phpAds, which later became OpenX . He also developed phpEasyMail, phpIRC, phpChat, and phpPolls with PHP . He was also co-author of the first major PHP 4 book, Web Application Development with PHP , in 1999 .

In 2000 he was co-founder and CEO of the Bolzano- based company Maguma , which manufactures software development tools for web applications on the basis of open source . The website phpwizard.net, later taken over by Maguma, also comes from Ratschiller .

Today he works as the founder and managing director of the company Senza Limiti, which operates Internet portals.
