Toby Knapp

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Toby Knapp (born around 1973) is an American guitarist .

Career

At around the age of eight, Toby Knapp - at that time he was fond of acoustic music in general and Crosby, Stills and Nash in particular - received an acoustic guitar from his grandfather. However, he quickly gave up the instrument. However, when he saw Jimmy Page in The Song Remains the Same , he became permanently enthusiastic about the electric guitar.

His first label release was the solo album Guitar Distortion via Shrapnel Records and Roadrunner Records at the age of 20. After a twelve-year break and then approximately every three years, further solo albums followed.

He was part of the cast of Onward , who released several albums through Century Media in the early 2000s . After leaving, he founded the black metal bands Godless Rising and Waxen , each of which has released three albums so far.

In 2015 he returned to heavy metal when he first founded the stylistically similar-sounding band Where Evil Follows, named after an onward song, and then with Shane Wacaster the US metal band Necrytis .
