Death Morgan
Death Morgan (* 25. December 1902 in Dungeness , Washington , USA as Albert Morgan Pilkington ; † 3. August 1953 ) was an American boxer in the super featherweight and left arm .
Career
In his weight class he was both the first world champion of the NBA association (the NBA was renamed WBA in 1962 ) and the former NYSAC association (from which the WBC association later emerged). He succeeded when he beat his compatriot Joe Glick on December 16, 1927 in a 15-round fight in the 14th round by disqualification .
He held the title of the NBA until 1928 and the NYSAC until December 1929. In addition, Morgan wore from December 1925, when he defeated Mike Ballerino by technical knockout in the 10th round, to December 1929 the universal world title.
In 1942, Morgan completed his last two fights.
