Todor Boshinow

Todor Iliew Boshinow ( Bulgarian Тодор Илиев Божинов ; born February 21, 1931 in Wyrschez , † February 15, 1992 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian politician .

Life

Boshinow graduated from the College of Geology and Mining. From 1968 to 1971 he was Secretary of the District Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party in Sofia. In 1973 he became secretary of the Council for Social Relations Management at the Bulgarian State Council . In 1977 and 1978 he was the first deputy chairman of the Bulgarian State Planning Commission. In 1977 he became a member of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party and in 1978 Secretary of the Central Committee. From 1979 he was a member of the Politburo and Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the People's Republic of Bulgaria.

From 1982 to 1984 he was Minister for Metallurgy and Mineral Resources, Minister for Energy Resource Resources from 1984 to 1985, and Minister for Utilities from 1985 to 1986. In 1986 he lost his functions in the Council of Ministers.

Boshinov was a bearer of the Georgi Dimitrov order .
