Todra Gorge

The Todra Gorge ( French Gorges du Todgha , Arabic مضايق تودغى, Central Atlas Tamazight ⵜⵉⵣⵉ ⵏ ⵜⵓⴷⵖⴰ ) is located in the North African Morocco in the Atlas Mountains . The Oued Todra has them on their way south to the last mountain ranges of the High Atlas cut before the river in the provincial capital Tinghir the highlands between the High Atlas and the Djebel Sarhro reached -Gebirgskette.

The steep walls of the gorge up to 300 meters high , the bottom of which is around 1400 meters above sea level, are very attractive for climbing . A variety of climbing routes and a number of hotels open up the area for international tourism.
