The Tofani Glacier is a glacier on the Bowman Coast of southern Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows in a northeasterly direction to the head end of Solberg Inlet , which it reaches north of Houser Peak .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) in 1940, and the United States Navy took more in 1966. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out surveys between 1946 and 1948. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1977 after Walter Tofani, a doctor at Palmer Station in 1975.
